We miss Ben Orr but his spirit is still with us through his music and songs. He was probably humble too because when you hear people tell you your handsome all the time either it gets to your head or it takes you down to earth. He was more a down to earthy type of individual. This is the reason why he was so appealing. Actually the entire band was like this, which attracts people even more. His eyes always drew attention to me, the windows of the soul.

This man was a walking, talking bundle of magically gorgeous appeal, but it such a natural part of him -- it was just there. Ben never hammed it up ... he didn't need to.

I've played it every day in and day out since the beginning of April. Soon I'll move on to another band, because as much as I love The Cars, after a while, as with anyone else: Aerosmith, Boston, Zeppelin, Floyd, Doors, etc. -- it becomes monotonous. I'll cycle through 20+ CD's and come back to The Cars eventually.

So he takes a moment, breathes, and provides an intentionally ridiculous answer, and then laughs at himself and the absurdity of the moment. Elegant, really.

Ben Orr -Sexiest man alive!It's a shame that we lost Ben Orr. I'm from Boston & went back stage a few times to see them. My girlfriend Linda and I used to get back stage from David Robinson several times. We knew his mother Reene. We were at the Robinson house and met the Rings I'll always remember those days. Toys for Tots benefit. They did so much for Boston. I cried the day I found out he had died. There will never be a better band Ben Orr will live on..Forever! Cars Fan Forever 2008
And the best thing is that he had the family roots in Europe - Benjamin Orzechowski. What a great talent he was! The song "Drive" is absolutely amazing.
