thank god for brian epstien he made them who they were then and there still goin strong today idc if he was gay or not i have respect for him who knows what would ve happen if he didnt found them it a shame how he died
@BobDylanFan1966 yeah, we all respect him, but John didn't... you may know that John was at the beggining a "hard" man... he was a rebel, he was violent, we was a joker, he had a rare humor, a personality as hell,. At this time, John used to make fun of Brian 'cause he was homosexual, then he was one of the most peacefull men in the world.
And hearing John play that strawberry fields-esque tune, and in other videos he says the way he'll die is "probably popped off by a nutter" and then "if we're alive when we're forty, we'll come back" just freaks me out.
Sometimes I think John knew what was gonna happen to him, or with the Beatles and such. Or he was a time traveller. *shrug*
Oh..how bittersweet is it to see the boys in Central Park, knowing that just 16 years later John would be living (and eventually) die in its shadow. Breaks my heart. :*( RIP John. We love you.
he's saying that John was playing that instument (spacing on the name) and it sounded like the beginning of Strawberry Fields Forever, even though that song hadn't come out for another 3 years or so
i just want you to know that we appreciate what the people of Britain have done for us! I LOVE the way he says Britain, done, and us! SO LIVERPOOLISH!
John actually called that radio guy a "wanker" in that part, but the radio guy misunderstood him and thought he said whacker. "Wanker," for those who don't know, is a pretty common insult in British slang.
Gah I wanna go to New York so bad JUST to stand on the exact spots they stood! When I was 10 I sat on the giant Alice in Wonderland mushroom in Central Park, but on the exact spot where Jimi Hendrix sat. And I didn't even know that till just recentley!
6 20 i believe...john is playing the breakdown of strawberry fields...just messing about! amazing that he discovered it then...and again a few years later.
6 02 john starts to play the breakdown of the intro to strawberry fields. funny how something amazing comes out of nowhere...and came back to him again a few years later.
WOW! Listen carefully to John on the Melodica from 5:59 to 6:19! It appears as if John is unwittingly creating the beginnings of "Strawberry Fields" for a later date! Seriously! Check it out! Am I wrong? Maybe he kept playing those chords for years until he finally did something with it!
Let's never underestimate the importance of Brian Epstein's role as manager in the Beatles history. With out Brian's guidance in those early days, they may have never achieved their

Paul used to play "Blackbird" in pubs LONG before he ever recorded it for the White Album.
And he wrote "When I'm 64" when he was sixteen years old.
And the Beatles used to jam to "Junk" whenever but they never recorded it.
I expect they had millions of incredible songs that we never ever heard.
