When I reflect on the greatest sounds of the 70s, the quintessential voices of rock and roll, David Clayton-Thomas is always the first to come to mind. The gritty, raw texture of his voice, combined with his power delivery and soulful inflections make him (IMHO) THE voice of Rock and Roll. Long live David Clayton-Thomas
My husband is dying of Malignant Melanoma Lung Cancer, I sent him last year to see DCT this is his favorite song, Today the hospital told me to make final arrangements, This is to be played at his funeral damn it followed by a party, A fan to the end. As he made and makes me so very happy, Thanks for the music
We never know how long any of us have but when life is a trip we gotta be a bigger trip like DCT! I have fought a malignant melanoma as I didn't see it coming, i just hope it stays gone as I too am 47 which seems so young to me now but I know something is better than this life somewhere! Love to you and your husband as you both have a great attitude! "You Made Me So Very Happy!"
thank you very much. I am so happy that you fought the Evil Malignat Melanoma. I pray that you go and gt checked over and over It hit his leg 1st and while on Chemo boom right to stage 4, The great Warren Zevon who passed of the same titled his last LP MY RIDES HERE. I live in Toronto Canada. I would like to talk to you if you want. In the mean time ENJOY EVERY SANDWICH take care of U
my husband is in his final stages of Malignant Melanoma that has spread to his lung. I sent him to see DCT !0/08, He has danm near eve recording that he knows of by DCT, This is his his fav, He want no funeral just a party, He want this to be the 1st song played. Thanks for making him so very happy, He will be 47 next Wed, And I thanks him for keeping my wheels spinning for 23.yrs. Mr. Thomas thank you for the music,
seen them back about 10 or more years ago, unbelievable, not many singers can still sound like they did when they were younger, good music, love the musical changes as always
Your choice of words shows why you, in particular, would approve of any song
named MacEvil. As for your aspersion, turd, you threw an air ball. I used to play
pool with Dave Clayton Thomas. He was a nice guy, and a formidable one, too.
But a good singer or a musician? Na-da. Dave's glottal closure is a joke, a
truth that would be obvious to any professional musician (in my case, pianist).

This comment has received too many negative votes show
In Canada, this guy gets paid for farting . . . which is understandable, perhaps. For
all of the posturing, he can't sing worth a shit.

One of the best and most distinctive vocalists in history.

The voice is still there. Saw a PBS special recently with a bogus B S & T, different lead singer. If DCT isn't on lead vocals, it's not BST.

Incredible. Mr. Thomas remains being the best. In spanish best means bestia (beast): the greatest.
