Tutorial: Rorschach Animated Mask (3DsMax + AfterEffects)

I just finished the 3ds part, but there's a problem when I render the image. The inkblot is way up on the y axis and I can't find a way to make it render correctly.

For the inkblot animation, is it ok if I use Photoshop?

@sdrinozancan It's definitely possible, but you would have to create every frame in the animation. You could also use Adobe flash.

I just finished the whole animation. I decided to use 5 different references and divide them in three layers to then use the shape tween in flash. It worked out really well.

Very cool tutorial, way better than Indy Mouguls version although that is a DIY on the cheap version. i cant wait to try this out and composite it onto some real footage and see what i can do.

3d motion tracking. Boujou is probably the best for it. After Effects CS4 only supports 2D.
