@jishuenkam I was lucky to purchase a large quantity of premounted scrolls between $12 to $15 each. I knew I had demands for public so I had to make decisions like that. You may find many from Taobao.

Do you place your seal on this type of calligraphy (on red paper)? What color seal ink would you use for that kind of paper? Thank You.

Chinese seal pastes have different colors such as red, yellow, green , gold, and etc. We usually place the seals first on small pieces of yellow or white paper and then paste it onto the red Xuan paper. In public events, I rarely use seals since the paste will not be completely dry in a few months and most likely the recipients of the calligraphy will stain the paste if they don't handle with extreme care.

Chinese Calligraphy looks very easy but it is an art of balancing the strokes and character, it is truly intelligent.

"Love" was written in cursive style; the other characters were written in semi-curvise style - same style as the movie logo you were asking.

Semi-cursive scripts may be different in personal tastes, insights, and structures...

There were two painters sitting by and a guy just came. They were close friends and used to talk like that. What they say was not related to the calligraphy demo,. It happens always when I have public events.
