here's the problem: Gears 2 plays on a host using peer to peer connections, of course a dumb idea, it shud like any pc game run on servers! Why do we pay for live? People say for the servers, well WOW if u use p2p u just rip us off. But i still love Gears!

I traded in my GOW2 and bought back my GOW1 and when i started playing it, it was the best feeling ever. no lag, my shotty could actually stop someone from chainsawing me. I wanted to play execution so guess what, I fuckin searched for a execution room and joined. it was amazing.

I traded in my GOW2 and bought back my GOW1 and when i started playing it, it was the best feeling ever. no lag, my shotty could actually stop someone from chainsawing me. I wanted to play execution so guess what, I fuckin searched for a execution room and joined. it was amazing.

ya man when it laggs like that...its called some1 using a lag switch they have a button on their modem and it laggs everyone in the game except them then they go around kill everyone turn it off and then they get bunch of kills honestly....PS3 4 LIFE

No you don't know what a lag switch/button does obviously. It makes it so that you cannot possibly defend yourself. Your teamates will be running into walls and every shot you take will be a blank because it reality, your player isnt moving. Whats in this video is just plain lag. I killed people which is proof that it's not a lag switch.

whoever says its Ops connection due to poor connection is a dumb ass.. I own varies of MP games COD4 WaW Ureal etc etc. Then when I play Gears 2 I'll play up to 10 matches and 5 of them. 5!! not one or 2, but FIVE!! would be Laggy ass fuck... Fuck you for those who say gears 2 ain't broken.

No one uses dial-up for any xbox live game, it will not let you sign into xbox live if your connection is dial-up, or just too laggy to play online.

Hey at least you didnt waste 60 quid on a BRAND NEW, secruty sealed etc , game, to put the code for the gold lancer in, to have the download get an error half way through, and it already 'deducted the code' from my account, now i can't re-enter my fucking code to restart the download!!

"we" being less than 50% of the people who have played it. I like how those who are a noob enough to enjoy Gears of War 2 find that insulting is their best way to defend their game. While I never started insulting people who like the game or the game itself. Even when I said that most of these glitches are funnier than they are annoying and that Gears 2 can be a solid game, yet this kid is tellign me to fuck off.
