Great stuff, recently finally got around to finishin this game after startin it a decade ago. Currently playin Skyward & it is awesome, but windwaker is also class and underrated, superb music - I would have had the sailing music on there though as well - EPIC

Gohdan's Boss Battle Theme is really an underrated piece. Yeah, Dragon Roost and Windfall are awesome songs, but I just love the contrapuntal complexity and instrumentation of Gohdan and feel it deserves to be on equal standing to the other "biggies".

Didn't notice it my first few play-throughs because I was so into the game - it wasn't until I listened to the soundtrack on it's own that I thought "Wait a minute! When the hell did this song play?! It's awesome!! :D"

@xxxzeldaxxxful Yes there is a timeline, at least a partial one including all the games from OOT onwards. OOT split into 2. Majora's Mask follows OOT child timeline and Twlight Princess follows many years after that (the execution of Ganon by the sages early in the game confirms its link to OOT). In the adult Link timeline Wind Waker > Phantom Hourglass > Spirit Tracks. Nintendo have confirmed this and Skyward Sword is a prequel taking place before OOT.Older games can't be placed in the timeline

You know what I love absolutly MOST about WW? the change in atmosphere. Every other zelda game (exept the other toon link games, which started with this game anyway) has a set atmosphere. Zelda has been kidnapped, and you have to complete a great quest and various sidequests to save her! This one is a lot more freespirited with the sailing and the wind waker (and esspecialy the style of music) gave it a different mood. Many people put it down for the different graphics, I feel they are necessary

I agree for the most part, but I still feel the need to nitpick, because in WW Zelda was captured (same goes for every single other cartoonish Zelda games), and in several other non-cartoonish Zelda games like LA and MM, she wasn't :P

@TheAnimefan194 ACTUALLY (prepare for a timeline lecuture) ruto and laruto are related by bloodline, and if you look at a great sea map compared to the OoT map (remember, the great sea is just flooded hyrule) then you see that dragon roost island is approximatly where the zora's domain is, so this just proves with the laruto, ruto and medli sage-liness-is-passed-down-thr­ough-blood that the zoras are the ancestors of the rito tribe, a tribe which medli is part of (part 2-->)

The great deku tree and the forest haven is approximatly where the lost woods are in OoT, and he also spoke in hylian (thus proving that he was the deku sprout after link defeated the forest temple). He also said, that the koroks once took on human forms, the kokiri (and besides, just LOOK at the names, koroks, kokiris duh) and the sage of the wind temple was a kokiri, a desendent of sarria, thus making makar a descenent of sarria as well. Lecture over.

what made me fall in love with wind waker was the concept of it. it just captured me, the idea of sailing around and seeing the world. idk what it is. i love all the zelda games, each for different reasons. but most of all the music is the best.

I dont know why but I just love Twilight Princess more than WindWaker. It just felt like it was longer and that the bosses were harder. And with WW the world was just sea and some islands(and I know it because I just finished the game) and in TW it just gave me more of a ZELDA feeling cause of the stretched plains and the different areas. And WW dissapointed me at this. But I'm not saying WW is bad if you haven't played it I HIGLY recommend to play it.

Both have different strengths and weaknesses. I think TP has better dungeons, bosses, story and overall atmosphere, but I absolutely love all the sailing, exploration and sidequests in The Wind Waker.

@19Szabolcs91 Honestly, Wind Waker's bosses were much tougher than Twilight Princess. I still prefer Twilight Princess over Wind Waker, but bosses is what I give Wind Waker over Twilight Princess. They're both about equal in music though ;)

@SuperThobal ya but think about it...in every zelda game its the same setting....hyrule castle and mountains. in the wind waker (my fave game of all time) there is a diffrent setting. but hey its just our opinions:) but ya soon im going to play the twilight princess because i heard it was super fun!

@legendarygirl99 Well that is how things are when you start with TW(I have only played TW and WW, i dont count the handheld versions). If you play all the games the plains can get annoying but if you start with TW it's refreshing. But I found that they made the environment pretty lazy. They could have done so many things with it. And the world of TW is just so beatifull. And they made more items never seen in games( like some spinny thing but i'll stop here ;) )

Ocarina of time is also one of the best legend of zelda games.

The story,levels,boss and musics are amazing in Ocarina of time.

If you didnt play OoT I would advise to play it.

@MizzBubblePop really, you're sister gets kidnapped and you try to save her. then you meet Tetra (a pirate) and you venture with her to where you're sister is. Then you attempt to rescue her, but fail miserably. Afterwards, you are left stranded at sea. But a red boat thats speaks finds you, and takes you to an island till you wake up. You use the boat to you're needs. He tells you why you're sister was kidnapped, and need to stop the reason (meaning of course, dungeons and temples:))FUN game!!!

Wind Waker wasn't as good as Ocarina of Time but it still was one of the best Zelda games,

in my opnion Ocarina of Time and Wind Waker were the best Zelda games, Twillight Princess was still pretty good.

The New Games for Nintendo DS suck, and I think that Skyward Sword (that new Zelda for Wii) will suck too.
