It's just so unusual they way it moves from a low spoken verse to an exuberant (albeit melancholy) chorus. And I also like the way it drops down an octave again after the chorus. It sounds slightly jarring, but it works!
I have never had the oppertunity to hear this live, other than on Mtv Unplugged...I have seen Alanis 4 times so far live! She has rocked us in Indy everytime she has been here
