I think 'ryyppäjäiset' is as hard to translate as 'karkelo'. :) But I think it's just you drink and drink and sing song like 'Juodaan Viinaa' and talk alot. Then you drink more.

So the meaning of the party is to get totally drunk and the party is held for no other reason but to drink.

There is no way to translate the title without butchering it a bit. Booze-up is the closest you can get, I suppose, but "Ryyppäjäiset" sounds a bit more crude in reality.

Ryyppäjäiset means party where you drink alcohol. you can put finnish word into translator and think it means that what translator suggest you first. booze-up works too but drinking party is better. I think :P
