For some reason, I always wanted to meet a Nazi vet, and see what made them join the axis. Believe me I think Nazism is wrong, but it interests me how a party like that could convince a country to believe in such bloodshed. I thank the allied vets for ending the Nazi reign.
We read about the Nazis and pass it off like it was just the past. But, for this man to actually have it as a part of his life and to say that he was really glad for it to be a part of his past is really touching. Its really great to hear the story from someone who was there.
I found it interesting how he said being in the war was the best thing that ever happened to him and it was the best thing in his life. this is a really honorable man.
He is a good story teller and he makes a good personal connect through his words and vivid detail. I know these men would do anything to forget what they have seen and this many years later, that they can verbally describe their experience with such exact detail is mind blowing and bone chilling!

For some reason, I always wanted to meet a Nazi vet, and see what made them join the axis. Believe me I think Nazism is wrong, but it interests me how a party like that could convince a country to believe in such bloodshed. I thank the allied vets for ending the Nazi reign.

He is a good story teller and he makes a good personal connect through his words and vivid detail. I know these men would do anything to forget what they have seen and this many years later, that they can verbally describe their experience with such exact detail is mind blowing and bone chilling!
