I live in New Zealand and we have just seen this wonderful story. I have never cried so much watching T.V , This kid and his totally amazing brother Nash is so amazing what two wonderful kids. You must be so so prod to be there parents and you two should bee prod of your selves you have done an amazing gob in bring these kids up.AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA+++++++++++++++++++++++ to you family. And to you Nash I can only hope my kids will have the hart you have buddy you are a great kid.

Tate and his wonderful brother nash are inspiring to me so much so that i started walking again after almost 6 years of not walking becasuse i had an accident at school that knocked my confidentce out of me.
I have cerebral palsy too but mine is mild.

Thank you so much for sharing your story, you have so inspired me. My son has been diagnosed with Angelmans Syndrome, which is very similar to CP. I know we have a tough road ahead (Christopher is only 2) but even at this young age is showing a great determination to succeed. I am so proud of him. I can now see what my son can achieve with enormous amount of encouragement. Just like Tate, I dont think "cant" will be in his vocabulary, Keep on the good work your family are truely wonderful.
Two amazing kids... Ever since that show on tv I havnt stopped thinking about them, such an inspiration.. Two hours after watching his journey with the marathon and I was still crying, you should be so proud.
Tate, Nash, Mum & Dad.. I have a 4yr old with Sp/Hemiplegic CP & 2 older kids (14yr old lad and 12 yr old daughter).. we all sat down to watch ur story last night; tears, tissues & smiles all around.. The story touched me on a personal level as i have lived the struggles.. Nash u are amazing brother, just like my 2, what a difference u make in ur brother(s) life & heart!!
Tate u are an amazing advocate for teaching people that ANYONE can achieve ANYTHING & i thanku for sharing ur story XoX
Go for it Tate. I worked at the Spastic Centre here in Australia many many years ago and there was a girl called Wendy. She was very effected. She want to put lipstick on.Yes, you can laugh as it went every where. After 2 months she put it on here lips like you Mum would put her lipstick on. You can do what ever your heart wants.

I first heard about your amazing little man a couple of years ago when he was doing the Melbourne marathon - Tate 08... I watched him tonight on Sunday Night, and was inspired again. I just wanted to thank you for inspiring me to help my 7 year old son who also has Cerebral Palsy be the best he can be. We hope to be a part of next year's marathon. I would love to meet your family... maybe we'll see you at the Melbourne Marathon.
