it mostly effects rust commons west and east, mabye a programming error for those areas

Same thing happened to me and my friend in online co-op at the same time after completing some mission, so it´s a bug in the game. Keeps doing that once in a while.

Ive been playing the game on my PS3 slim since it came out and 2 days again somewhere un rust commun its started to glitch like you, never happen before, i went back to new haven and was fine

Its not the ps3 m8, i just had this for the first time after i completed the "relight the beacons mission" in new haven. i did get worried though untill i read that other people had this glitch right after that mission. also if it was somthing wrong with the ps3 then the menus and xmb would also glitch. its just a bug in the game thank god lol

Seems to look like a Hardware problem, as i have had some problems like this in the passed with some Graphic cards on PCs. But Borderlands was made for the PC, then ported for Ps3 so it could just be a glitch in the codeing on that copy, have you tried tacking it back and get another copy or deleting the Game Data then reinstall it. that could sort it. But to me it looks to be Hardware.
