@xXxShugoMamoxXx it's hard to say because materials cost is different for everyone. I would send him a picture of the staff and ask what price he'd be willing to commission it for you :)
on the staff head area, did you use a full circle the bondo the whole area or did you cut a slit where the rod would got through then use the bondo to re-enforce it? also do you know what the 'cap' at the bottom of your staff is actually called or the brand name perhaps?
@Waiting4YourWhistle There is a slit cut where a dowel rod was placed and extra strength glued Then a thinner PVC was slid over it to "bulk it up" than bondo was used to get the end shape :) Unfortunately I don't know what company the cap comes from since I got it at a hardware store in Japan :/
WOW!!! I watched all parts and I think best is put the comment at the end so...
Thanks very much. I think I'll try Summoner Yuna Cosplay, because I like this one. And I like Yuna's outfit from FFX-2 too... so I hope you'll make someday tutorial on this one too. And thnaks again. You're best Yuna's cosplayer ever.
@RainbowNinjasSquad It is, but only because I accidentally forgot to plane the pine board (which is another reason its heavy, I used a heavier wood) so the thickness came out about a few more millimeters thicker than I intended.. and it took about a week to complete the staff :)
i wish i could see ur yuna sending dance performance....*0* becoz u really having a perfect outlook with the costume.....please dance....please....^ ^
I've asked my Dad to make me a Belladonna. He has over 50 years of Woodwork experience and I wish to make a "How to Perform the Sending Dance" Tutorial to get me started in Cosplaying. ^_^
Assuming you haven't already got one sorted by now; the type and size of bell you will need is a brass Sleigh Bell...the kind you find on a Horse's Reigns. I got one just 2 days ago and it's perfect.
Anywho,
Your Cosplay is amazing and this is really useful.
@FantasiesGhost Awesome! I'd love to see that :D and yes I've been looking for a sleigh bell for a while now, I've just been unfortunate in finding a place that sells them without having to order one online (which I'll probably have to do now lol).. and thank you very much for the lovely comment :D
I couldn't find ANY Sleigh Bells online. Or at least, none that were separate from horse reigns or that were the right size. I found mine at a Local Event celebrating the American Indian lifestyle. XD
The reason I want to do a Sending tutorial is because the amount of Cosplayers I've watched do the dance, but get it either completely wrong, or are just too violent with the Staff and too 'rigid' with thier movements... I hope to correct that.
@SierraStarlight7770 One end is QUICKLY super glued into place.. just put a thin line of it around the very end and quickly slip it in as far as you need it.. the other end is left free but just make sure that the dowel rod fits snuggly inside the PVC pipe you have otherwise it'll easily slip off lol
Would it be possible if I asked you to make this costume for me? I'd pay you of course.

I have a friend who can do woodworking, how much should I pay him if I asked him to make this for me without painting it?

How did you get the dowel rod to attach to the inside of the other pipe? I'm making a scythe soon and I want mine to break down as well.

@xHiyokoChanx Ah thanks! I'm wanting to make a scythe soon and I'd like to be able to make it detachable.
You should style and sell Yuna wigs on ebay or something, yours is the only one where it looks EXACTLY like Yuna's hair(with the little flip lol)
