Beagles are a night mare if the owners do not train them properly. We have one, he is bad as heck, but we manage him and he's the best pet ever!!!! They are not bad dog, just humans are mis informed on handling this loveable breed.  Long live the beagle and their micheif ways!

@dcodym My beagle EXACTLY. Our trash is also on top of the washing machine it's pretty gross! Many times we'd catch our boy already stuck inside the trashcan before we did that. Unapologetically stuck.

Yup, The Rose (the family beagle) does the exact same thing to the trash cans in the bathroom. It's kinda gross.

My beagle Lola would do this too and try to get things off the counters and the cat would help her. So nothing on counters she can reach even by jumping and trash is in a cupboard now. Yea beagles won't change, so loveable though.

We call it the "OH! That's mine" syndrom. Our Beagle Rose simply walks up to something, picks it up gently, then walks away assuming it's now hers. Then, Rose looks horrified when we take it away from her and does a little whining thing. She also "collects" the garbage when no one is in the kitchen.

Depends on the laws there. I prefer curbside. But Iowa doesn't do curbside. So it goes in a big pile then at some point we take it over to the store to get a migraine.

Our beagle does this too! We had to put our rubbish bin on top of another bin on top of a chair, because just putting it on the chair wasn't enough!!

A classic video! My previous beagle used to do just this. We used to come home to find empty food pots/wrappers, etc all over the carpet, behind the sofa, etc. But its their naughtiness that makes them so endearing!

2. there will be sausage-shaped lumps under your covers.
