U can totally see, Ricardo Costa didnt even touch Capedevilla, and the spanish player falls on the floor complaning about his face!!! Take a look again and ull see eactly what im saying. We have to bring technology into football. The reason Portugal never won anything is because of bad referee disitions like this.

But if as soon as the FIFA banner comes up ( 0:40 ) you look at ricardo Costa and Capedevilla you will be able to see that Capedevilla did not get hit at all.

this world cup has been fucked by shitty reffing and more diving then at a fucking swim meet, coaches need to tell their players dont be a pussy and dont dive during a game, the cameras will always see, personally I think they should use instant replay afte rthe game to see whos diving and hand out yellow cards after the game possibly getting the player suspended from the next intl match the team is supposed to have, its the only way to cut this shit out

@xGestiX From that angle it does sort of look like he put his arm out, but to me it seems like the Portugal player put his arm out a little bit without making contact, the Spain player saw this and used the opportunity to fake that he had been hit. Verdict = Spain player is a pussy and a bitch, I'm not a fan of either country but come on it just ruins the enjoyment of watching world cup matches.

Costa did not protest at all. That's even harder evidence than than 1:07 , which clearly shows the white elbow raising as a sign of an attempt to take Capdevilla out.

No defender would dive in a a situation where a crossing is coming towards an attacker. The risk is too big that the ref would not call and tthe attacker would have all the time to score.

Defenders dive in different situations like this.
