Jody's music was cool, and she was a sexie woman. Too bad she was not that strong a vocalist! Could have possibly been an even bigger star, even though I'm not sure why she was as big as she was. There were much better singers during that particular era that didn't get their due. Barbara Weathers of Atlantic Starr comes to mind

Great post! I think I have never seen Jody so relaxed in an interview. I miss Donnie Simpson, I wish BET would give him another show. Or It would be great if he had a late night talk show on some other network. Jody has a new single out now on iTunes called "Tonights The Night" she is the featured vocalist on the track by Mark de Clive-Lowe. Pretty hot! I think it should hold us Jody fans over until she releases her newest CD sometime this summer.
