There is NO evidence that raw food is the cause of this - in fact, cooking food can actually release harmful toxins. Japan's highest life expectancy is due to their diet which ties in with their lifestyle. It's GOOD for them.

if you look close the head is impaled to the board with a spike. It is also left there when she begins to take the skin off. The headless bodies squirm because the muscles are still active. The severed head feels nada!

@LaughingMage Culturally, Koreans want to eat seafood as fresh as possible. They buy freshly killed seafood from the market and take it directly to a restaurant to be prepared for them to eat. Some fish may still be moving on their plate. Restaurants will serve freshly chopped squid tentacles, still squirming like crazy. Like you said, they're going to kill it anyway. Koreans just don't prefer it be killed weeks ago and served up to them long dead.
