Man... I think I need a cigarette after listening to these guys. I agree, the vocalist is freaking phenomenal--- but no more than the rest of the band. The blast of lead just before the quiet bridge is my favorite part... not only good musicians, but the arrangement was what got me high... If anyone wants to see the "max headroom" version of sundown, this would be my slightly crazed entry to this same contest--- check it out.

As to whether it's live or recorded in a studio, that is a valid concern. But if you know Perpetuate (I've seen them live twice) you'd know that they could pull it off live, and it would sound AWESOME. Best of luck guys! :)

@oneofthemmusos Live they do just fine, and regardless if the producers will take our word for it or not. Comparatively, at least their recording equipment actually works. When half the bands recorded their live stuff, they were using the audio on a handheld camcorder, which results in incredibly terrible audio. This, while looking proffessional to some degree, at least gave the producers a chance to actually hear the music. I believe that's enough to peak their interest in Perpetuate.

@Smikey6667 don't assume I don't like metal based on my one comment. Perpetuate's made some great tracks but I don't like this cover because it lacks the grit and soul from the original. I don't think this song fits the singer's voice at all. It's not an issue of disliking metal or even not recognizing the fact that these guys are great musicians but a matter of personal taste.

This band has more talent then 1/2 the bands combined that auditioned - agree, even if you don't like heavy metal, you have to give props to the talent level here. No, it's not live, but hell @oneofthemmusis, if you could make a video like this, you would. Even if the sound wasn't phenominal, its pretty easy to see the talent and potential here. 2nd verse -SICK!!!! keep it up
