People, for the last time, it's Bomberman ONLINE but you DON'T HAVE TO BE ONLINE to play it. The reason "online" is in the title is online gaming was a new thing for consoles back then and only a few games could be played online and so they wanted to advertise the fact that this Bomberman game could be played online in the title. Same with Alien Front Online. The Bomberman Dreamcast game is a complete game in its own. You can play solo adventure or vs computer.

nope sadly not. sega never released the server tools so no home servers can be made.

Really? I always thought you could do a very small "hack" to play in a private server, that others have independenty set up for Dreamcast.

yes a lot of people still play this, i just got a dreamcast and its the best decison u can make in gaming..its better then a 360...maybe not better then a ps3 but way cheaper 30 dollars for the consol with a controler free online and the VMU and games cost 10-15 dollars

yes, server do exist...this is one of the best online games on the dreamcast besides quake 3 and phantasty star online but star has no more server but there still is private servers...its easy to connect too...and quake still has server pretty classic shooter

Uhh the ps3 has free online....that's you know....still active. You can't play online with the Dreamcast except for a few games on private servers which is a huge hassle to accomplish. However Saturn bomberman you can still use the "online" Multiplayer.

For online... no you don't have to be online at all.

What does the original track sound like... I don't think it is though....

It was one of the first online capable games for the dreamcast, hence "online" added to the title. But no, you don't have to be online to play - this was played offline

Well in older games... he never talked... ever... But if you play Bomberman Hero he has that voice and MAYBE 64... he's the one that always says "Battle game"and all that stuff... even in Generation (which is newer) he has that voice... Even in the anime... he has a high voice. lol I guess that's just how they all sound... Bomberman Fantasy Racing has him with a similar voice (in japanese) but yeah.

Did you konw that all the music on Ultra are sort of MIDI sequences of songs... this game had actual audio files so all the songs sound WAAY better and I also REALLy like the sounds and visuals in this game.... why are the new ones NOT like this?

also I dont suck at bomberman anymore, im just baaaaaad, since i beat the first 3 bosses(thunder, football dudes forgot their name, and mermaid bomber) but it took me and hour and a half for thunder an hour in one sitting for football dudes, and 25 minute sfor mermaid, This game is fun very fun

Ok I'll admit... Sonic Shuffle has some flaws.... but I still really enjoy the game. It's not for the faint of heart or the impatiant. The mini games is really the reason I like it... the mini games and the music... and the cell shaded graphics...THAT is why Sonic Shuffle is fun.... I bet if they fxed some things... made it a bit more fare, and rereleased it, it'd be pretty cool... although GameSpot would still rate it low simply because it's Sonic.

my firend has this(and currently i have my friends dreamcast) we play this at gameparties, I suck at it though. -_-, It took me forever too beat panel paint in single player but still extremely fun game, I'll be uploading some vids, in a few weeks, and a couple might have bomberman online(this one)

Yes its me the legendary DC BMO player Wes. I have people investigating the rumor of hosting games via IP for the DC BMO.

The PC version has no "no items" mode, therefore its not my cup of tea.

PC Bomberman isnt nothing like Dreamcast Bomberman... The Dreamcast Bomberman Online was much better...

And too bad this is offline gameplay, because you cant get to look at all the customized bombermen uniforms...
