no, i think Volodos doesn't lose control at all... at 5.50 i didn't notice anything like that...
P.s. Volodos is just the God of the piano, really.
I agree that Cziffra sometimes lost control, but Volodos doesn't.

It sounds a bit like Cziffra, but he loses control in a very insane way. Cziffra lost control by dynamics, he loses it by speed. 5:50

@Laudan08 I think you mean generates the feeling of abandon...I don't think it's built into his DNA to "lose control". ;-)

The coda sounds a lot like the coda of the 3rd movement of the 8th Sonata by Profkofiev.
