  • Such a shame.  Indianapolis kept theirs. Sad that knocking down great buildings before their time was up is nothing new in Detroit.

  • Watch the cheesy old movie 'Detroit 9000' (available on DVD) for scenes filmed outside & inside this cool old building as well as many other Detroit landmarks in the early 1970s. The site of this building is now Wayne County Community College's downtown Detroit campus.
