To eclpst: the cobra engine is in fact a 281ci. The exact number would be 280.8913 Cubic inches, which if you completed elementary math, you would know that numbers typically get rounded up or down.
@roguestang99 The mammoth kit is just a bigger inlet on the back of the blower, and it positions the intake on the other side, so you have to re-locate the battery on the passenger side. Kenne Bell supplies all that tho.

A stock 09? Yes it would rape one and I would hope it would. The vette was stock for maybe a month before he started modding it. First came bolts ons, then the cam (490/4xx), then came the D1 kit (756/662). The car is apart once again for another upgrade ;) If the cobra ran the vette when it was running the D1, I can guarantee the cobra would have lost.
A guy whose done just about everything to a cobra and tired of having a race car. Considering the cobra was stroked, built, cammed w/ too many other mods to list...he was happy he made 756/662 w/ a D1 kit, meth, bolt ons and an NA cam on a stock motor. It took way less to make more power power basically. The LS3's are no joke!

He's loving the vette and the dependability. Bolt ons and cam, he has the power to run a high 10 already with so little done. I have a vid of him pulling a C6Z06 from a roll, can't recall if was stock though, but I think it was. I need to get around to uploading it.
