@jkulesha Thats just his belief dude. He doesnt have to believe in God if its not what hes about. Yes, I believe in God, and yet, I love this song. Just because someone believes other then you doesnt mean they are wrong, or right. Just chill and see what he is trying to say. If you really imagine all that, it would be a world in peace.

@twoee999 I think your trying to put your own twist on it there, Lennon is very clear about his beliefs and clear in what he says, the idea of heaven and hell etc is so etched intothe consciousness of religious societies that its as real to them as anything, they would have to imagine there's no heaven and as he says its easy if you try because the idea is so obviously flawed and ridiculous when you think about it.

I'm a female singer/songwriter from the UK. I've worked with other artists including being support act for Eric Clapton in Scandinavia. I wrote a tribute song about John just after he died. It was a rough demo recorded at home but the meaning is more important. I've never gone public with this before and have just uploaded it so please have a listen and spread the word. Imagine all the people doing that in John's 70th year. Long Live Lennon.

I miss John and George more with each passing year; the world would be such a better place with them here, still with us. The Beatles were special, magical. May the surviving two members be with us for many more years to come. I've been a fan since the early 1960's and saw them in Chicago on August 12, 1966. I am so thankful to have been touched by them during my life.

LoL, I wonder what Lenon would have thought, Yoko (loco) Ono marketed the lyrics of this song to a diaper manufacture. Sounds all inocent and nice... products for babies and all, but my babies pooped and peed in those diapers, all over possibly one of Lenons greatest songs.
