iJUST BOUGHT THE toRQ....What a pain in the ass to set up....i even had to get a a crack ver of 2.0 coz i could not get mine to auth...crazy... then when i set it up im just getting a whine /humming noize in the backgroung..yep iv been grounded for about 20 years lol...an to top it of all the tracks are playing in rev....an the speed is wrong..an 1.5 that came with wont even instal on win 7...but ill try an stick with it.....an sus it all out.. prays to the DJ gods..
Didn't I buy your DJM 707? lol, dope kuts btw. I see ur workin with the urei now. I just picked up a ttm56, hard getting used to. Sounds different too. Anyways, good kuts.
nah this video is over a year old. i switch between your Vestax and the HAK360 now and then. I watched some of your videos. very impressive for the short amount of time you've been scratching.
dope. i just got torq, what do you have the scratch sensitivity set to? any time i scratch fast or move the record in a faster motion it seems to jump around alittle same with juggling on backspins.. any ideas?
Do u leave the platter spin while u scratch? caus at the end it looked like u just left, and dnt turn off the platter...? and how do ya find that mixer? Urei i belive? totally happy? tight enuf Xfade curve for choppy scratchin? thanks -DJ Fezz
i've never tried anything besides torq so I can't really help you. judging from the features, it is probably the best thing for mixing. i heard serato has a lower latency but torq delivers good enough scratching performance.

what do u think about ssl?
eloy213 2 years ago
i'm not sure? i don't have much experience with SSL. i hear the latency is lower though.
MotoDeYono 2 years ago
you wont be able to tell the difference. its like real vinyl. the delay is about 0.012
finnybanana 2 years ago
i cant even tell the differ an i got torq
koldkuts2 2 years ago
for the money go with torq.
finnybanana 2 years ago
hell yea cheaper is the way to go but it sux that u have to buy the upgrade for torq not like serato which u get it for free
koldkuts2 2 years ago
Buena tecnica =)
XxRitSxX 2 years ago
do you need a mixer if your only scratching on 1 turntable.
fresh2deaf661 2 years ago
yea cuz you need to use the cross fader on the mixer to scratch

Thanks, did you ever fit the 06pro with an innofader or pro x fade?
scratchaholic82 3 years ago
not yet.. i plan on dropping the innofader in the 06 sometime soon though.
MotoDeYono 3 years ago
if you want only to scratch buy serato its a little better for scratch noobs if you want mixing too,buy torq its better, eqs in serato are pure shit!
kokoboarder 3 years ago
yeah but he'd connect it up to his mixer and use those EQ's, so it wouldn't matter what serato's internal EQ's were like

Where did you get the scratch sample?
PHOENIX2001 3 years ago
i don't see why not.. as long as torq is compatible with the mac OS.
MotoDeYono 3 years ago
..this is a reply to whoever that asked me about the mac but i accidently deleted his post :x

i just have the buffer size set to the smallest(128). i have the "stick drift" problem too, actually. it's not that big of a deal to me though.
MotoDeYono 3 years ago
word, after i left that.. over a few days i got it figured out, thanx though dood, gotta upload some new cuts now!

haarenharry 4 years ago
the platter is spinning which i scratch and i do turn it off when i finish(look closer).
the Urei is decent. the curve isn't the sharpest thing out there but definitely good enough for scratching.
MotoDeYono 4 years ago
dope as fuck mate
just 1 question
how good is torq? how does it compare to serato, mixvibes etc ?
