We were there showing support for the family, I do not know them but my 4kids and I walked 12 blocks 2 show support. After all isn't their cause about childhood obesity?It rained on our way back all were soaked we did not complain we had fun, exercise did us good.I saw the airing on ABC tonight, the smiles on their faces says it all.Im glad that the community can come together, so why complain? The 20 yr old girl needs to realize whats really important in life,and how lucky most people are.

Thankfully, the negative attitudes of some do not reflect the majority of the fine peope of the fine state of Wisconsin. I am proud to call this state my home (even though I live in Green Bay) and the residents of Neenah have shown the nation what Wisconsin is all about.

The people who live on Elm st. got passes to park in their driveway !! Also, they did not call and apply for a new home ... they asked for NOTHING !!!! They were nominated by people who know them ! They are a huge asset to the community ! They are very deserving, you should really research before talking crap ! They will NOT lose the house... there are things that are being done to be sure of that ! All the volunteers were more than happy to help ! My sister & bro inlaw & I were honored !!!

@Deeznutz1961 absolutely right on....some people are just born grumpy and can not see good fortune as POSITIVE energy...I saw the whole show and I was moved, crying tears of joy and applauding my country men to be selected. Yeah, it's all great and shit, until you release you live fucking two blocks away and people are parking in front of your house and you need to park 3 houses down just to get fucking home! In the end they might lose the house after their property tax raises, a show did this for a house and Fond Du Lac and lost it for the same reason.

The Dundee (by Fon Du Lac) family did not loose their house, WBAY news recently did an update with them and they are living just fine. Do you really think that ABC, the nations leading television network doesn't do some research on the financial ability of the family before choosing them?
