Nope. Do you have the stock midpipe? I have one from the coupe. That COULD be it. But I did end up putting a pipe with a muffler tip on it. When I had a muffler tip with a resonator it was fine, but once I got one without a resonator, it was slightly louder, but raspy around 4-5k rpm.
that's what I thought. I tested like that first before I actually added some piping with a muffler tip. Got a muffler tip that was resonated, sounded good, but the resonator got messed up and rattled every time i accelerate so I replaced it with a non resonated tip and it's even beefier, kinda like what you in this vid, but it's raspy after 4.5k RPM, but mean sounding. Probably because I have to replace my y pipe and/or cats...I was slammed for quite a while, literally 2.5" off the ground
Several reason. 1) Fits more people more comfortably. 2) I like luxury/sporty sedans. 3) They look very nice fixed up. 4) Easier to have sex in than the coupe. 5) People get shocked when they see a 4 door smoking coupes (not g35 specific).
Can't wait till I get the money to install an HKS supercharger. Vortech if funds are tight. My goal is to get 350 to the wheels, then eventually a built motor and get around 500 to the wheels, but that wont be for a while.
make up your mind . . . luxury . . or performance . . . . or space . . ? ? if you want performance and practicality (space in the back) . . . cant beat the wrx, evo X, mazdaspeed 3, golf gti,
Luxury and performance can be done together. Think about it...boost? A built motor and boost would spank so many cars, and with bags, yes handling is sacrificed a bit, but it's not like I'm gonna track my car. For me it's about luxury and I still have the performance..especially with Ohlins coilovers, which hardly any one has.
hmmm . . . changing absorbers dosent always mean that you gain any performance . . . it may actually be bad for the stability of the car . . . manufacturer knows best when it comes to the suspension .. . . i would not fuk with it . . . if handling was a big issue idd get a track tuned variant . . . like the 370z nismo . . . or the mugen si . . . .
I've been through multiple suspension setups and by far what I have now is hands down the best...even better than JIC Magic coilovers. I used to have Tein Basics, decent, then Function & Form, gets low a lil better, but quality wise not as good. These, well, lets just say I can take a last minute turn onto the onramp at 60 mph with 800 lbs of bodies in the car on the softest setting and have no issues. They are actually design for track performance with street comfort.
I really wasn't at first until I got these. I was all about being slammed, literally had 245/35 series tires on an 8.5" rim and I was a finger from tucking rim. Then I got tired of having to replacing some exhaust components and I got an aftermarket bumper so I raised it.
WIth what I have it will go lower but I'm not trying to damage my bumper more than I have already :(
I just get frustrated now when my friends aren't able to corner quick enough and I'm behind them, I just wanna dive through
I'm not quite sure. Maybe if you cut the back of the pipe where the muffler is you can do that, but I can't remember how the muffler looks. Or you can cut the midpipe a lil and have it re-welded, but you'd have to make sure the muffler isn't hitting anything. Plus you will need new brackets.
Yeah, I had the HKS. I sold it because I was gonna get a custom catback setup with high flow cats, sebring muffler, and a single 3" pipe from the headers back. But I decided to hold off. Gonna get it done by Labree Motorsports in Canoga Park.

They're not as luxurious....not to mention, back seat isn't as roomy. Plus, you can't go VIP with cars you mentioned
