That's exactly right. Since that infamous flip on robot wars from the centre of the arena, people have not been keen to let WBC use the flipper in live events. But it's been heavily redesigned recently to allow me to "turn it down", and then it should be allowed to fight again.
Why wasn't Wheelie Big Cheese allowed to use his flipper? Too powerful? (I've seen the video of Wheelie flipping a bot out of bounds from about the center of the arena)
that is bloody rediculous i know wheely big cheese an almighty flipper but there would be no chance that it would hit the roof

it's always possible to win without a weapon, but yes, without the flipper wbc is just a wedge. Wouldn't say useless, but nowhere near as good.
