Dragonball Z Medicom Gohan Figure Review in HD! (Viewer Request)

A minor thing i noticed is that Gohan is not wearing the same shoes as Piccolo. Gohan has almost always had Piccolos' shoes when he wore that outfit. To most people a minor complaint to such an awesome figure.

@Carnage6X dude Piccolo is suppose to be huge!! if you read the official dragon ball Z densetsu he's it lists his height as 226 cm that converts out to 7' 5''!!! so yeah he's huge!! so in reality Gohan is the one that's to big not Piccolo.

Is it ok if I pose mine a lot? Not this one but goku or piccolo. Are they durable. Not like to play with like normal toys, but just to pose a lot.

@jetjeff5 Well some people have had problems with the rubber parts of Goku and Piccolo's skin.  Constantly moving the joints could cause the skin to rip or tear. Some early Goku figures had a problem with the skin actually flaking off. It's really up to you but for me I just put them in one pose and leave them for a while.

it looks basicly like an epic version of the old bandai digures which were the best mostly due to their lack of articulation, i've noticed that the better a dbz figure looks the less articulation it has and the more movement it has the fuglier it is, so either you want a nice figure or a figure who can kick and sit down

There is actually an explanation of the size. While Piccolo is only 3 years older that Gohan, he is still 7 feet tall as opposed to a naturally sized 6 year old. It doesn't really matter who they are, a 6 year old will always feel out of place when standing next to a 7 foot man.

there are different ranges under MEDICOM TOY

which includes RAH and VCD

while RAH you'll get both of articulation+look

but VCD is more to sculpting

just like DEATH NOTE MEDICOM series

the human figures are RAH

but RYUK is VCD dues to the size and all

It's a vynil doll rather than an action figure, so it has the standard VCD articulation plus the feet and wrist. Medicom stuff is too expensive, though. I don't think it's worth all the money they charge for their vynil collectible dolls.

i think if Gohan was real as a kid hed be just under 5ft maybe 5f7 when he took on cell but as a teen hed be at least 6ft maybe just growing an inch or 2 as an adult

yeah the best teen Gohaniv ever seen its a bit like thise and far bigger than an ation figer is the battle SS1 dammaged one hes even dragging his left broken arm and his face and body is coverd in cuts and blood and battle dammegrd normal Goku simeler to Gohan i got both of them for a buck each at a carboot sail i nearly fainted at how cheap they were

the only reason people buy this is because of the Piccolo extra head

it works great on display with super saiyan and battle piccolo in combat, but that's it...

i would say PASS

maybe just find an eBay seller and get the extra head separately for like 10-15$. I'd say its a 10 times better deal :D

Yeah, the VDC is more of an accessory piece to the RAH line. And 100.00 is a little steep, so I see were your coming from. But like I said mine retailed New at BigBadToystore for 77.00. I highly recommend them.

u have to know just one thing... "its a collectible", so... if u are for really a DB FAN then $100 is just fine for the figure and the extra head.

actually he looks pretty much to scale, cos he was pretty much a baby when he first started training with Piccolo... too bad the arms got such poor articulation

I have Piccolo, Goku, Gohan and just got SSj Son Goku. Gohan was $77.00 new. The scale is correct. Piccolo is very tall, that's all. Good review btw, but I was well aware Gohan was a VCD before I bought him, and he actually had more articulation than I thought he'd have. You didn't know?

Good to know the scale is right because like I said, he looks just wrong standing next to Piccolo. Also, the review is just my opinion. I'm not familiar with Medicom or VCD or whatever so I was expecting more for my $100. I wasn't planning to do a review on this figure because I didn't have all the facts. It was a request.

I think what we are both wishing is that had been released in the RAH line, that way it would have benifited from what we are more used to. My main problem with this thing is the scale - there's no reason in my mind they couldn't have made him a little bigger! I don't have this guy yet truth be told, but I do plan on getting him... Despite all the problems I have to say it's probably one of the more beautiful Gohans ever. Oh, and I hate that Piccolo head! Great work again - love your reviews!
