  • They almost always fly through Hampton

  • the boxcars had the best graff on em.

  • Yeah, some of it is pretty artsy.

  • yeah. do trains always go that fast there?

  • Yeah, for the most part. It about a 40mph zone. Trains that run from Halifax to Toronto have zones were the speed limit is up to 60mph.

  • that also looked like a single track railway. am i right?

in my area, trains on a single track (the CP LINE) almost always hit speeds that fast (at least in the country side lol). in the city, they slow down a bit.

  • yah same here, they hit 60mph where i live lol. where abouts are you from that the track speed is so high?

  • I live out in Thunder Bay. trains in the country part hit those speeds sometimes.

  • oh haha wow yur way up there :P Nice scenery out there though.

  • Every rail line in New Brunswick and Nova Scotia is single track. Obviously, there are sidings every now and then where trains meet.

  • yeah! some of that graffiti was pretty nice.

do you get alot that good, or better??

  • i lovee freight art.

that graffiti art was really good.

    nice!

  • nice catch with the hotbox..

  • Thanks. I was pretty lucky with that one.

  • the grafitti is nuts

  • Yeah, there's quite a bit of it! Although, I admit, some of it actually looks pretty good, even though it's on railcars.

  • ya i think it looks cool there but i would never tag up a train u would half to have lots of guts

  • Yeah, it's definitely gutsy. I would never do it.

  • It figures, whenever you get an alarm its always near the end of the train. Made for a long walk for that conductor. They probably wouldn't be able to back up with all the crossings around there either.

  • Other than a few small private crossings, the next main crossing was about 4 miles up the line. After this, I drove up a little bit to watch them. They stopped to let the conductor out, and then the train went ahead about 30 cars. After a bit of work, the train backed up to pick him up.

  • Yeah it saves alot of walking when they are able to back up. Get a work clearence and they are good to go. Pretty easy to do on the Sussex sub I guess, don't have to worry about other trains.

  • wow they must have needed alot of exter power becuase one of the units was the local 7060!

  • Either that, or maybe gort yard in Moncton needed to borrow it.
