@skorch82 even though,I'm not playing this game,watching you play it is entertaining. maybe its the mysterious plot,the great claymation(this is pretty good claymation,even for the 90s) or the fact that i really like Doug Tenapel's work.

Correct. The hint from Willie says "Make the foghorn noise next to "Frenchie". He is my pet." The foghorn button is, indeed, next to the bug's nest, and who keeps a TV-guy as a pet? Okay... no one should keep a giant bug as a pet, either, but it's more plausible that way...
