Hey guys! I saw the show in Montreal, Canada just a couple of days ago. Absolutely amazing! Just 3 weeks before, I was in Dublin, Ireland. Beautiful city, beautiful country, but mostly beautiful people, so welcoming they made me feel at home! Now it's our turn in Montreal to welcome the famous Irish group and like they say in Gaelic: "Cead Mile Failte" and thanks for an amazing performance.

Sure, it's not as good as 80's Bono, but for a guy that's been doing amazing shows for about 30 years, I'd say that's pretty damn good.....oh and I see you think he's a terrible person even though he wants to help the hungry, the needy, and those with HIV and AIDS? As for the band, yes they are incredible.

From what you are saying, you suggest that good people write good songs, not at all true... there are so many vile individuals in the music industry who write better songs than Bono. It's just U2 have never made an album (one or two songs maybe) that has stuck with me, they are constantly described as on par with Coldplay as the world's most boring band

@popmartour U2 siempre lo acompaña una mega obra de promoción para que así pueda llenar sus estadios aunque el 60% o 70% de los asistente no sepan en realidad que onda con U2,
@popmartour o sea: que no se podrían considerar seguidores del grupo, simplemente el hecho de estar ahí porque es del grupo que todos hablan, cosa que no sucede con Depeche Mode, ya que ellos prácticamente no hecen promoción de sus presentaciones y si la hacen sun muy mesuradas, y llenan estadios pero porque los fans son los que corren la voz de los conciertos, a eso sí se le llama una banda de culto. The mix sounds better than how it was when they broadcast this on Youtube for free. I've seen them a bunch and I didn't think they had their best night but it was still quite good.

I absolutely love U2, but Bono's voice has seen better days. I think he need to rehabilitate his vocal cords, because he's lost a bit of his range, regardless, totally buying this on Blu ray.

The only thing i dont like about the trailer is that you cant hear the crowd at some points, and thats one of the best things about a u2 concert - the atmosphere. Hope it changes for the actual dvd
This was the main problem about this concert, Mate. Very weak audiance. It was transmitted live, here, on YouTube. People who came to see U2 back then really didn't manage to make The U2-ish atmosphere. I remember discussions about this on u2forums, that U2 will probably abandon releasing the Pasadena concert because of really mediocre performance by themselves and really bad audiance. Well, they decided to do it anyway. Pity. Chorzow and Berlin really rocked.
The Rose Bowl show was fun to watch on YouTube live,. There was however, a lot of echo and it was quite annoying. Guess after seeing them live in Chicago in '09, whereby they sounded incredible at Soldier Field, and so did the crowd, the Rose Bowl sound wasn't impressive. They shoulda picked a better sounding show to put on DVD, but they already did the Chicago DVD in '05, No matter what, they put on a killer show, worth every penny I spent. Looking forward to round 2 in Chicago, July 6.

U2 es mas comercial que Depeche Mode no sera que U2 es mas popular que Depeche Mode no me importa yo amo a estas bandas insisto aquellas bandas que hacen una gira mundial es porq son muy comerciales no tengo una mente tan cerrada de decir esta banda es mejor porq es de culto y esta otra banda apesta porq es comercial bla bla yo me entere de un concierto de Depeche Mode en mi pais por la Tv y lamentablemente no lleno... @alandm91 pues creo que ambas bandas son comerciales y creo que aun mantienen culto, dices que el U2 del ZooTV Tour era una verdadera Banda, te dire que esa gira fue TAN PERO TAN COMERCIAL que muchos fans criticaron pues la comparaban con su gira anterior Rattle & Hum, pero es parte del espectaculo, el show... que odiosas son las comparaciones no se estanquen sigan caminando sin mirar atras

@popmartour o sea: que no se podrían considerar seguidores del grupo, simplemente el hecho de estar ahí porque es del grupo que todos hablan, cosa que no sucede con Depeche Mode, ya que ellos prácticamente no hecen promoción de sus presentaciones y si la hacen sun muy mesuradas, y llenan estadios pero porque los fans son los que corren la voz de los conciertos, a eso sí se le llama una banda de culto. A U2 casi hasta en las papas fritas los anuncian...

The only thing i dont like about the trailer is that you cant hear the crowd at some points, and thats one of the best things about a u2 concert - the atmosphere. Hope it changes for the actual dvd

This was the main problem about this concert, Mate. Very weak audiance. It was transmitted live, here, on YouTube. People who came to see U2 back then really didn't manage to make The U2-ish atmosphere. I remember discussions about this on u2forums, that U2 will probably abandon releasing the Pasadena concert because of really mediocre performance by themselves and really bad audiance. Well, they decided to do it anyway. Pity. Chorzow and Berlin really rocked.

The Rose Bowl show was fun to watch on YouTube live,. There was however, a lot of echo and it was quite annoying. Guess after seeing them live in Chicago in '09, whereby they sounded incredible at Soldier Field, and so did the crowd, the Rose Bowl sound wasn't impressive. They shoulda picked a better sounding show to put on DVD, but they already did the Chicago DVD in '05, No matter what, they put on a killer show, worth every penny I spent. Looking forward to round 2 in Chicago, July 6.
