Skill comes from practice and expansion. Not sticking to one style. Try other drum techniques too.

@desolationofsmaug Slipknot are a great band, and Craptopsy are not death metal, they are grindcore. REAL, BRUTAL death metal is bands like Suicide Silence, Job For a Cowboy and Whitechapel.

Looks guys, the reason people like Suicide Silence is the same reason why people like death core. Its a fucking fad. What does the death core community consist of? 15 year old bisexual emo boys. Deathcore while wither away one day but Cryptopsy will still be here(at least old Cryptopsy). Anyways the song is fucking brutal especially the end I nearly cracked my neck from headbanging so hard 3:25.

@PTR131 I didn't know 5 chords for an entire song and then a single note breakdown that engulfs about 70% of the song, encompassed with horrid simplistic thrash metal type drumming, non-existent bass, and the one of the worst vocalists to be conceived is more brutal and more technical than a band that in some cases can't tell your listening to same song with such changes, several scales being used, clear bass, technical drumming, and some of the most intense death metal vocals.
