I think this is the most dramatic and profound movie made by disney. The relationship frollo wants to have with Esmerelda is so surreal. I cant believe the film is only rated PG. lollllzz I think Frollo and Esmerelda shoud have had something going. Wouldnt that have been an interesting ending instead of him dying? XD

i seriously luv this movie. but i never realized frollo...ummm... "had the hots" (no pun intended. lol.) for esmeralda back when i was like 6 when i watched this...i just thought he was a "bad man." though his character disgusts me...=.= ugh.

Very good video! I am stunned by the way you moulded his words and choose clips that suited their meaning. This song is my favorite of all Disney songs as it is unbelievably haunting. His obsession with Esmeralda leads to his ominous downfall which is truly amazing for Disney to capture.

It's a reasonable fear, bleedingspade. Many child molestors do in fact blame their victims for putting the lust into them just as M. Frollo blames Esmerelda. Their "logic" is if they're turned on, then the child knows he's turned on, thus the child is doing it on purpose.

Personal experience. A drunk guy unloaded to me how he thought 10-year-olds were intentionally seducing him and I slowly got his sick view. When I shared with a friend who works in a prison, she told me that kinda reasoning is common. Not all do it, but many of them do. Also, you might like reading the Malleus Maleficarum...the authors of it sorta come off as Frollo here, with the projection of their own lusts into the women they think are "bewitching" them.

Frollo and Clopin are good. This scene, the opening scene and the ambush in the Court of Miracles are fantastic. The rest of the movie is unfortunately very lame and cheesy.

Frollo is a man who is corrupted by religion, becoming overzealous and self-righteous. Full of fear, confusion and frustration he resorts to drastic measures in an effort to stay true to his beliefs.

Awesome Vid. The GREATEST Disney villian and GREATEST Disney song ever made. The cool thing about Frollo is that the story that he's in, is imaginative, but not unrealistic, making him realistically evil. I think that scares people which is why the movie is not watched and is horribly under-rated.
