Slow Loris are on the endangered species list. Its because of ignorance and animal abuse such as this. As was stated below they take their teeth out. They CUT their teeth out. He also states that all loris video promote more poaching and abuse. The argument against this isn't one of legality, but rather morals; your point about Hong Kong is irrelevant. You also can't compare this to declawing cats. This involves ripping teeth out of the jawbone and gums...and poachers aren't known for being sterile.

Where are the qualified slow loris breeders? What do they know that zookeepers don't? Wiki it - these animals are stripped from the wild for this trade. It doesn't matter how well they may or may not treat this animal, because every one they take is A) one that can't be bred in the wild, and B) one that further encourages the illegal pet trade (especially with videos like this).
