Why no sangan, and no gorz? I know he runs miracle fertilizers (which actually doesnt really hurt gorz since it goes away) and has some potentially dead s/t, like pollinosis, but gorz shouldnt be hard to run and its such a life saver. Also sangan can grab lots of his monsters, like lonefire, debris, and quickdraw. Also one final question - do you think the deck will still be good competitively if lonefire and/or dandylion is limited? thanks!

I convinced him to run Sangan, he took out the Quickdraw and it's been working really well. :)

This isn't a typical dandywarrior deck! It runs an aggressive backrow, especially cards like Miracle Fertilizer, which makes Gorz obsolete. The Miracle Fertlaizers stay on the field often, and I never see a moment when he does not have essential backrow.

He'll still continue playing it no matter what gets hit. :)

Book is a personal favorite of mine, but his deck's been well without it.

o=! I played him at cool stuff! I played a naturia deck he had back then. His deck was cool, i beat him with my bw's though. I applaud innovative players! I had a similar plant deck like that, infact too similar. I kinda wish I didn't trade away my plant stuff to bling out my bw deck..But i'll feel good when my vayu dragunity deck goes live in march. Every Debris-Hime deck I've seen runs at least a single copy. Cookie-Cut is a typical standard.

Not saying there's anything wrong with that, though. It's just nice to show successful builds once in a while with rouge selections.

There isn't exactly a standard for plant control, but the closest deck it can be compared to is Debris-Hime. People tend to freak when they see it and go "No (insert generic Hime/Dandywarrior card here)?! Wtfgtfobbq."

i have been playing a rykoless and caiusless version of plants for a few weeks now, and i gotta say its not that bad since I beat the best duelists in my local with the cookie cutter version, rykos are so easy to stop with stardusts, caiuses are so easy to stop by not letting your opponent have tributes or effect veiler or even solemn warning which i run three.

He used to a long while back, before we began playing competitively. Mind Control is more effective since it does not get hit by a potential MST and can hit face-downs. It often accomplishes the same purpose, which is utilize the monster's effect and then as Synchro fodder.

@DragonDuelistGirl They both have different uses, One hits face downs and the other allowing you to tribute the target/ Attack. I mainly see it's purpose for the endgame result. In the end I'd probably try the Mark over the Swords, Hey there's a reason Brain Control was banned and this is the closest thing to a Brain Control the deck has. :D

I believe the build is perfect as is. It topped 8 every Regional it ever entered, so it sounds like it doesn't need fixing to me. :3 It's just posted to show users the array of options outside of the typical netdecks.

Those nitpick choices come down to a matter of personal preference and playstyle, not better options. He changes things around once in a while, but as he sees fit. ^.^

He used to main a Pineapple and Bamboo Shoot back in Sebring, and his build didn't even run a Debris.

The Pineapple causes complications as this build's momentum revolves around summoning an array of synchros that would conflict with it, aside from the mained Trooper and Debris. He also plays a potent backrow and cards that are continuous or linger, so he'd have to compromise his moves to net it.

Very nice build. Love the Gravirose in there and the Cactus Bouncer tech is amazing. This is the type of Plants I could see myself running and enjoying as it plays more to my style than Hime versions. Excellent job Sir.

i like this variant. my friends been trying o make a plant deck. not much on the synchro side, but still getting up there. it has to do with super solar nutrient. it seems to work great along side 1 for 1 for those glowup bulbs and spores. it also works well wen u wanna bring out lonefire blossom then remove for tytannial and sacking dandy for quick tokens and formula synchrons. so does this idea seem to have potential?
