  • "did you know this piece was adapted into several cues in the film "The Burmese Harp". I'm sure the same critics who love that movie hate on this one. bet they'd never guess where that haunting music came from"

...or probably that it was done by Ifukube...

  • When u hear this music u r gona be all like OH CRAP NOT AGAIN.

This has been well over 100 times now!!!!!

  • Kaiju-oh Gojira desu!

... Uh, romanji aside, I love the cover of this CD. o-o I love it's all sepia-tone/black and white, being the soundtrack of the original one, without being an still from the movie, but a whole new image. It's like "see how menacing is this cover? The movie is as menacing, if nor more-so".

  • The first two movies were essentially the ones that were the most serious in tone, and true masterpieces, truth be told. Not that I didn't enjoy the rest of the Showa catalog, 'cause I did--it's hard to believe there are people that don't appreciate that era--but the first two exemplify the true essence of Godzilla. No wonder why the Millennium series capitalized on that.

  • i love this song

  • Ah the orginal badass theme

  • our king well come back soon and kick ass

  • yeah the great song!

  • One of the best theme tunes for Japanese SF films. Too bad the opening titles was not used in the 1956 Americanized edit of "Godzilla" (1954): "Godzilla: King of the Monsters".
