  • hhaha yea

  • CLOVERFIELD lol..

  • lol

  • Someone asked if they knew what the cause was. The answer is "not yet". There are a lot of safety issues to deal with first before the fire marshall can finish investigating.

  • it was a propan facilty explosion

  • The camera wasn't on when the initial explosion happened. See this again and turn the sound up - you'll hear the subsequent explosions.

  • I dont see an explotion. The title of these videos are dramatic. It looks terrible but I have yet to see some huge explotion.

  • There was a huge explosion. Watch kevjumba's version if want to see the dramatic explosion.

  • im telling u all right now that the ALIENS r COMING!

  • That was scary, I felt it too! It woke me up.

  • That's unbelievable

  • I'm glad he got blocked, but like my friend once said... "You can't fix Stupid"... what goes around comes around, and people like him ALWAYS get whats coming to them. Its just a shame that I won't be there to see it.

  • wtf im in missisauga and i got a clear view of toronto i didnt feel a thing or saw anything i must be to far away

  • Its people like you SBR88 that give American's such a bad name. NO RESPECT for the fact that Bob Leek (25 year Veteran of the Toronto Fire Department) died in this explosion. Everyone check his channel, remember his ugly mug, and hopefully if you ever cross my border and I come face to face with you, I'll give you a warm welcome with a Curb Stomping.

  • He's been blocked and his comments have been removed. I believe in freedom of expression but when trolls show up trying to stir up shit - they get no tolerance.

  • well said my friend.

  • sorry, i meant to write this as a reply to "Phaticus" but somehow it was posted as its own comment. sorry about that :)

  • well said my friend.

  • I've seen on propane tanks inside flaming houses explode on television, and they're massive. This was a whole plant. It must've really done some damage. Any word on the condition of the two injured people?

  • Haven't heard anything about the injured folk. I believe a firefighter died in this though.

  • That's horrible.

  • Wow :o

  • Holy crap, how am I supposed to go to Wonderland tomorrow? No go bus?

    LOL, this is sad.

  • I heard the shockwave was so strong, it knocked some lady right off her bed lol.

Woww i live near old weston rd. and rogers, and that first loud BOOM was clear. It shook my house too. The first thing that came to my head was...terrorists. I was so scared.

  • ya my sis thought it was thunder too but thought it was a real weird thunder ..so she got up and looked out the window and then she had to be evacuated ..

  • I think I recall hearing a 'boom' when I was sleeping (I live in toronto) and I thought it was thunder and lightning and then went back to sleep XP

  • At 4 a.m. this morning, much of Toronto was rocked by an explosion. This explosion was caused by a propane factory in northwest Toronto.

  • wow i live in ottawa thankfully,

  • Holy SHIT!

I live in regina, haha I couldnt even imagine what that would be like in a residential area.

  • I live 2km away.

  • The fuccck are you saying Canada going to hell lollll what a loser

  • what the hell is wrong with you? Someone got killed and people got hurt.

    What an asshole.

  • No worries. That guy was a troll. Trolls don't survive here - he's been blocked.

  • woke up and there was a orange light so i looked out my window and thought i was in hell for a sec

  • i have a dollar that says your propane bill just went up!

  • is this from Sheppard?

  • Yes. Sheppard and Bathurst.

  • HANK HILL NOOO

  • nice camera job

  • Thanks.

  • is this iraq?

  • i believe if u read the title of the vid u would see that this is not fucking iraq but it is toronto... u know canada-_-dumbshit

  • you are the biggest retart i have ever come in contact with. "DO YOU KNOW WHAT A JOKE IS" fuck.

  • yknow I thought I heard loud booms sometime when I was sleeping, but I thought it was just thunder too...maybe it was the explosion. I didn't even know it happened till I saw vids of it on here.

  • i live on keele and wilson, and this was the scariest night of my life. it looked as if the fire was only yards away. i'm going to be having nightmares for months, just the sight of the fire when we ran out of the house, i thought it would touch us in instants. i could feel the heat on my face, the cupboards opening as the ground shook. i'm so thankful that no one is said to be dead.

  • Oh shit I slept right through this..only found about it when i was watching tc this morning...and I live 20 mins away!

  • I like the TTC driving by around 1:00.

    Business as usual.

  • I heard there are propane cylinders falling from the sky, I am out of propane for barbq, thinking of buying one but i think i should visit your neighbourhood and pick a few from there...

  • Unbelievable, I live in thornhill, and needless to say, that im still speechless of what happened,

I was half asleep, And half awake, and i finally just calm down from a heartbursting nightmare, and there it was BOOM. The loudest noise i have ever heard in my life. It was unbelievable, I ran into my brothers room asking him what happened, and he said it may have been thunder, the whole city probably heard it, go back to bed. So i get back in my bed and i hear little Blasts, and i just walk

  • It's the cloverfield monster in canada !!!!

  • i feel sorry who was in that (if there was)cuz there body would of turn into ashes

  • I woke up like how those people in the movies do after having a nightmare. I would never believe that it was possible.. but it happened to me. I thought it was just a thunderstorm because of all the thunderstorms we've been having lately, so I just shrugged it off. It happened again, I didn't say anything. Of course I shouldn't feel excited about it, but I regret running to the window to see the explosion.

  • I lived MINUTES away from there (my parents still do!), though being in the UK I feel I can't do anything...

  • keele and lawrence i felt it!

  • ahaha yeah man where were you watching from?

  • dufferin and wilson shook the crap out of my building

  • I almost died of that lol

  • i got my vid cap on the corner of paxtonia and dubray, pretty much right in the hot zone, literally...lol

  • st.clair and runneymede here, but yeah we got friends and family calling in cuz they live closer, and one of our friends lives in a building on keely and wilson in an appartment and windows exploded.

  • i was so scared becuse when the first one went off was the loudest it was when the propane first exploaded i thought it was a plane crash too but the boomb boombs that were shaking toronto were posible of fule exploasions anyways i was scared to death couldent sleep

  • wow.. I can hear ..BOOM BOOOM O.o

  • SHIET MAN the mushroom was insane

    this is retarted

  • I know - I've never seen anything like it.

  • Thanks for posting, it was very loud at Avenue/Wilson too

  • You're welcome. Yes - you were fairly close to it.

  • my window got knocked out and i live in keele and wilson i cnat imagine what happened down there

  • I guess we'll know sometime this morning. Saw on CP24 that two people were hurt. Which is pretty amazing, given how large the explosions were.

  • i was awake when the first explosion went off, my whole house shook and im down by Eglinton and Dufferin.

i ran out back to see what was going on in time to see the second explosion.

the whole sky went bright yellow, followed a few seconds later by the blastwave. i was almost knocked back by it.. i was trembling.. thinking "oh no, they didnt did they?"

  • Wow. Amazing what goes through your mind when you see something like this isn't it? My thoughts: lightening, truck crash, airplane crash. In that order.

  • Heard and saw the major explosion from Jane and Finch.

  • That's fairly far out and away from it. Makes me wonder how it happened.

  • dufferin and glencairn here

  • i heard this from bathurst and larwence

    even shook my house

  • I think that's about the same distance away as I was - at Sheppard and Bathurst. So many people from my building rushed outside to see what was going on.

  • Thanks for posting so fast.

  • You're welcome!

  • We felt the blast wave shake our entire house and we're up by Keele and Finch. Could it be at the Downsview military base?

  • Apparently not. I thought for sure an airplane had hit the ground. Was watching TV at the time - when the whole apartment shook. First thought was lightening had struck the building. Except the quality of the boom was too immediate. Looked out my window and this is what I saw. (Oil refinery explosions)

  • Oh snapperz

  • Apparently at Wilson and Keele

  • Thanks - wasn't sure where it was. Someone said it was an oil refinery explosion or something.
