This is an example of the direction Jim Henson wanted to go in with his Puppets, He would eventually succeed with stuff like the Dark Crystal and eventually his series called the Storyteller witch I have and it's awesome. I love this video.
@Breen31173 This video is somewhat scary, but I like it. i see what you mean about the direction Jim was going. It does look like Dark Crystal, and the Storyteller (was there a storyteller where a guy lost his fingers and an ear but got them back by sticking them in a pot of boiling water?) For some reason, i think storyteller.
Yes there was that's one of the episodes I have. It was called A Short Story, The Story Teller is one of the main characters in that one. My personal favorite is the one called The Solider and Death. Remember that one.
Wow - what a flashback. I remember seeing this when I was about 10 years old. At the time, I was really into building Lego spaceships of my own design (kids, this was before Lego got all specialized in their parts!) I was going for a "Battle of the Planets" Phoenix-style ship. What I ended up with wasn't half bad, and I ended up naming it, you got it, "Alpha Centauri." Crazy thing is, I'm 39 and I still have the final version (Mark V, from when I was 12) in one piece in my office!!!

Those ghosts look very close to life-like, don't they? They almost look like they were Creatures rather than Muppets.

This is a rarity, it's better than the origional version.

I agree. I was pretty disappointed with the album cut.

a classic song that reminds me of another show of Jim Henson that finished with a similar teaching.

This is such a creepy and un-Muppet-y number.
