Chapman was cool. McClendon fit the bill. Archer simply shredded. Moore is out of this world. BUT...Schenker just has something magical about him. This would have been a cool time period to see them live. Thank God for YouTube. ....and AXEFLYERV.
@w00tm0fa Sure, good point. I do own the first two albums (not the third that was Live and originally only released in japan) but I have to be honest...not a HUGE fan of UFO's version of space rock. But, Bolton was cool...and the orginal...so you have a point. I shouldn't have excluded him in my original list.

I saw him in 2007 in L.A. & I heard he cancelled the rest of the US tour upnorth & than he really F.. up in the UK Manchester,where he admitted to do that & ofcourse the videos on you tube Schenker ,Bad Performance ,and the whole story was told about what happened & he explained it on some interviews & also on a website!
but he took sometime off, not much & came back,had slimed down & playing great,2 new albums I saw him 2 times this year in January & June & he was great,out of the many times I've seen him since the '80's to today he has cancelled 2 times ,end of 2007 & in march (posponed) 2008 but I have been very fortunate to never have a bad performance!
but I know alot of people that just got so pissed about the cancelled shows!
Moore is good but Schenker wrote all those great riffs. No one else has a style like that. He's influenced and inspired so many guitarist its not even funny. SCHENKER IS THE MAN!!
I Saw UFO with Schenker and with Moore. Schenker will always be better: his solo's, sense of melody, songwriting and tone. Schenker is a legend. UFO still have succes on stage with the Schenker songs.

I feel the same about this being your fav LTL live. I like the fact that the acoustic is faster and the sound is very good. Electric is just amazing, melodic, haunting yet epic.

I have the up-most admiration for anyone that studies music and i rate Moore as a excellent player, but Schenker has a natural feel, tone and structure to his playing that does not come from a text book.

I remember being a teenager in the states not being able to find shit unless you went and ordered jap imports from tower which we did just to get the alt covers or different versions a extra song maybe buy kerrang to get a Schenk pic but besides that you were on your own. I have got to say it YOU Tube and the people who share their vids absolutely kick ass thank you so much coming from a old rocker who will keep listening even when they start playing my music in the elevator.

Best version I've ever heard of this was on the Walk on Water Tour in the UK around 97.

he has been touring for at least these past 2 years,when you don't know the whole so called "Child support" story misinformation is easy to judge!

I saw UFO 2 years ago and this past Sunday-.
They still are one of the best live bands of all time and 'STILL' are coming out with new material.
Vinnie Moore is now the guitarist and he is as a virtuoso. As good and better at times than Schenker.
They Played love to love Sunday and it was brilliant. In Fact-that very show and song are also here on UTUBE.Watch it and see for yourself.
