how funny, pukka! this reminds me of my colleaue, its true some do act like this but not the majority, people love seeing the bobby on the beat, and there are good and bad in every proffession
@holabetty Very true. The majority do a great job and its just the few idiot members of public (that dont like Police in general) who dont like seeing PCSOs around.
@interghost true, but we don't stick first aiders in hospitals, give em a few extra powers and take one or two away, and pay them lots of money whilst making out they're doctors. Which is what we do with PCSOS, except we make out they're cops
@SuperFairguy The only people who make out that PCSOs are Police are members of public not the PCSOs themselves? They also dont earn anywhere near what Police earn. Also, its a completely different job to a Police Officers job. They just work together and it works very well. The only people who dont like PCSOs or Police are people who are or have been in trouble with the law in the past! Thanks for the feedback though ha ha!
very funny, but he ain't real, yes there is pcso's like him out there, could you imagine him problem solving and trying to compleat his PDR....i'd like to see more, keep it up..
PCSO's are great despite the one sided media coverage they get.
We need more like:
PCSO Uthayakumar Packirisamy, London who just a month after the 7/7 terrorist attacks stopped a woman who had mental health problems blowing her self up on a bus.
PCSO Will Brockett, New Mills who on his own saved a man drowning from a freezing river during winter
PCSO's Mike Driscoll and Sue Broadwell, North Yorkshire, who dived in to save an elderly man from drowning in the fast flowing River
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
Hmmm... I would rate Lesland Amatoe as a well above-average PCSO, perfectly matched to the Britain crafted by geniuses like Tony "War Criminal" BLiar, John "Thumper" Prescott, Gordo "Thief" McBrown and their sorry band of robbers. He'll do well!
Now to find a another high-flying PCSO, even more evolved in terms of the great tree, take a look at v=RKl2sEN4yNM instead. :-) While it may look like Oxford Circus in the background, it is surely Tiananmen Square in reality. It must be a camera trick!
This is genious...better than 3 non blondes and little britain etc!!! Come on guys commenting...can't it stay light hearted...you are all gettin so stressed...maybe you should take some of what this guys taking.
I was reading about a commendation for bravery given to a couple of PCSO's who helped disarm someone with a three foot samurai sword. Now that's bravery - making the street you walk down a safer place.
I suppose you'd still have reason to moan if it had gone wrong and you'd read about my death and the posthumous award I received after that fatal stab wound or had drowned along with the kids. "Silly bastard", some might hear you say, "He'd got no protective gear!" or "Why'd he go wading out of his depth acting the hero!?"
I'm looking forward to you declaring your occupation for general scrutiny. I can then take my turn to express my own ignorant, misguided, negative, stereotypical, hackneyed, short-sighted point of view and watch how you try to justify how your daily work actually contributes something useful to society. I enjoyed the Muay Thai power angle video on your page by the way. I can now learn some proper defensive moves to protect me against all the violent psychopaths I come across in the street.
they found his body. do not rely on the media becuase unless you have the facts everything we do is wrong. the truth is that we are doing a job that is not a normal job, and yes, there are some people who have slipped the net in recruiting like any other job, but the media 'create' what gets them the story. im old school, i work my beat and make my presence known. im also ex army and ex ambulance service, so do not taint us all with what you think a'pcso' is.
if you read the news and believe it then you're mistaken like most people. The actual fact was the boy was in the water (which was in a large quarry type of lake that was murky) he was under the water by the time they had got there so it would be a recovery than rescue -And if they went under, whose to say they wouldnt find him as anything could be under the water. thats why the sgt that jumped in had water training and then liased with the diving team.
I've been a fake fed for three years - and I have to agree - GENIUS!! Would have been better if he'd have repeated the fact he could DETAIN any one of them - not arrest...lol Glad he got a cursory nod from the response car - shows the carmarderie across ranks and roles evident in the job!
@rubberbot LOL 'impersonating an accreditied person' - accredited in what exactly? And it's obviously a spoof and you're obviously unprofessional. Like most PCSOs
