I feel this is good hojo undo training for the bo applications. Noted he uses a variety of stances and works the clock angles of Happo no Giri. I do not think this is directly extrapolated from any certain Okinawan Kobudo Kata but a drill utilizing a systematic variation of stance entries, blocks and parry's, and strikes at the three gates. Well done and worth the critical eye for adoption.
Just a little notice, it´s probably made of Rattan and not Bamboo.
but as Karate by Jesse mention it¨s durable and flexible.
and is very good to use when you are doing kumite with a opponent that is having a Bo made of redwood.

Id prefer an oak bo, cause when it breaks you have a spear haha

Yeah seemed like it. I'm a Yamanni Ryu student under Shihan Oshiro. So this was very cool to see. Thanks 4 posting.

@KARATEbyJesse That's pro. Bamboo just makes a lot more sense for a weapon...It's stronger, more flexible, and usually lighter...

Cool. A weapons man who does more with his weapon than just twirl it like a baton. He has my respect.
