no its hasnt, but i made a metal lid for this since then that is a lot easier than the paper.

1) heat the oil

2) open frozen bag of fries

3) throw them in

4) when they're done, eat

wow, complicated.....some people might actually cut up a potato for really good fries but, what do I know?
