Despite of many people laughing at these small tiny cars, but they are everywhere on the road.....and they are quite reliable as well.....this is why the British car maker slowly dies off when the japanese moved in.....
I own a nissan terrano r3m 2.8 liter. A lancia delta fitted with a supra engine. Toyota corolla with 4age engine abroad, here in the ul I bought this thing called Daihatsu move to save on everything, All i can say is you will be surprised with the 0.8 liter engine as it packs a punch. The body is so light but is stable. It is fast and furious it doesnt look like it though... There is no need to use 1st gear it takes off in second gear. 5 speed! Plus air conditioning!!! Power doors and windows/m
I just bought one for £670 and it's farking fun! with the high fuel prices and cramped city roads, it's really practical. the insurance is cheap too. in the event of nuclear fallout, i bet this car will still be running. btw, the car is a babe magnet because the cute factor is 8 out of 10! LOL....
Am I mistaken in thinking that at 3:22 he stated 13 and a half thousand pounds. I would never pay that and he says that's cheap. Is he insane? But that was 13 years ago. The price wouldn't changed much since I should imagine. Cheap and nasty for a Japanese motor and the 3cylinder 1.0liter version must be so gutless and feel so strained at motorway speeds. Best avoided in my opinion.
tive um carrinho desses no japao ! foi marcante muito bom ,essa versao ainda nao e turbo como a que eu tive, carro barato bom espaçoso cabe ate uma geladeira grande dentro, muita saudades desse carro.
@watanabehefuml Yeah, very reliable. I drive mine for more than six years now, it's one from 1997, and it's never left me standing. You just have to change the battery at some point because it's so old. For the rest it's perfect. Oh, and it's not that suitable to go on the road with if there's lots of snow on the road, because of the low wheelbase... (based on my own experience :-)
@JossPhaux First I saw Quentin Wilson I didnt like him...but he is a big expert on the cars especially around buying used ones...but Berry is annoying, his accent and also his grin in the dace...more like duch face :D and he did not understand bikes too

This is where Jeremy Clakson's phrase "Just savour the awfulness" comes in :-P
Daihatsu, though, have built some interesting wee cars in their time to be fair.
