@indoorin it stands for nothing, it's NWU (Navy Working Uniform) Worn whenever formal dressings might become soiled or dirty or just aren't appropriate for the task at hand.

But seriously, that's the new Navy Working Uniform based on the Marine Combat Utility Uniform. It's designed to disguise stains and wear and tear that occur during work.
