I'm with ya Yondern. He's got talent, but I don't think he fit the bill for the Dunegrass lineup. It never crossed my mind to skip moe. for this freak. Friday's moe. show was one of the best I've seen, and the highlight of my weekend. And seriously, wtf is with the bucket?
"faceless consumer" The guy who took over D.G bit off more than he could chew and BIG names like Moe and Buckethead "fit the bill or not" are the cause.
Bravo Dunegrass for adding some variety to the line up. Not to mention he was amazing so everyone should take note and open their minds a bit. Isn't that the whole point of being a hippy in the first place?

This was the single worst act ever to grace the dunegrass stage ever! The man has some talent ...and alot of insecurity issues! How he fits in a blues and folk festival I will never understand. If he ever gets invited back to dunegrass it will be a sad sad day.
I agree with you in the fact that I dont know how he got into the line up for dunegrass but he his a very talented musician and guitarist, you have at least give him that.
I agree with Yondern why aren't all the bands at dunegrass exactly the same. My fellow Klansman I mean hippie Yondern has a point where does this bucket fella get off bein' diff'r'nt it's an insult to open minded people everywhere.
The overpaid bands(such as buckethead, moe, steel pulse, arlo) helped sink this festival into a $200,000 debt. We need top talent to draw in crowds but at what cost.
According to the soundman on a scale of 1-10 buckethead ranked a 6 moe ranked a 10
buckethead was seriously scared someone would remove the bucket from his head!
He wouldn't even let other top musicians be backstage.
Furthermore, this video is very low quality as is the sound quality.
How can you call yourself a hippie and not be open to new types of music. I sat there and listened to that hippie crap all day and even enjoyed some of it. NOT! However it was worth waiting 12 hours to see Buckethead burn that place down!
Listen to his album Population Override to see just how well he can takeover blues and folk. He was out of place here, but that doesnt mean he cant tear it up like always.
