  • Interesting 914-6. I owned a 1970 for 14 years - loved the car - bought from the original owner in '75 - same color. After five years of running around with its stock engine, we rebuilt it using 2.7 pistons & barrels, 2.4 heads and E cams. Dyno: 25% more displacement, 50% more torque, 100+% increase in HP. It required wider Fuch rims using P-7s, Bilstein Sports and a late-model clutch with custom linkage. Lots of work but when finished it was solid and did it rock! It ate Ferraris!

  • my dad has one of theses

  • HP numbers????

  • That's the original 2.0L engine rebuilt to E spec. It has 120hp at the rear wheels, so probably 130 or so at the crank. Not a lot of hp, but it sounds great screaming right behind your head.
