Yes, just go to Menethil Harbor. The boat that used to go to Auberdine now goes to Howling Fjord. Now the boat travels between Auberdine and Stormwind. I forgot the name of the alliance village, it's just south of Utgarde Keep. And north of Kamagua (or something) is a bigger alliance settlement, with a keep and everything

The name of the village you arrive at from Menethil Harbour is Valgarde, it's under attack from the Vrykul forces of Utgarde so you get a really good feel of how harsh Northrend is from the moment you arrive.

@Selkie15 Harsh? Northrend? I am lvl 79 and I one shot mobs, and the quests are piss easy and I havent died since 71, hmm..harsh indeed. Fucking easy.

I don't mean the gameplay is harsh. I agree it's piss easy (i'm a retadin) the only group quests i didn't solo were in icecrown and they were 5 man quests. Not sure how to explain what i mean soo.. I play on an RP server so I try to assess how the place would be to an alliance or horde soldier so I can roleplay my characters effectively and try to see how their view of coming into a desolate land torn by war would be. Put yourself in the shoes of some human or orc arriving in the Fjord. *shrug*

Yes, first, there the port village which you can reach from a boat in Menethil Harbor.

Then further North, there is Westguard keep. (by completing the quests in the port, you can get a quest that sends you to Westguard Keep.

The last village, is a small Alliance settlement, far to the Northeast of Howling Fjord, with a flight path.

Well, there is the whole quest chain in Valgarde where you go into the past through the spirit realm and see a human unfant with a vyrkul, and later you find out that vykul are giving birth to those because they are "cursed". That alone is reasonable proof that they are. Then again, they do say that there were probably other ancestors to human in Northrend that were probably killed by vykul. You never know :O

i dunno but i think it is a zeplin in ogr that i dont think anyone has ever been on its just up high if you look up iam not sure but it looks like the only way

The Orgrimmar zeppelin takes you to the Borean Thundra - the zeppelin at Undercity takes you to Howling Fjord.

I need to update the macro, Blizz changed something with the maxlod in the latest patch and now it'll crash on any value less than 3. Use:
