Her spins and spirals are beautiful. However, her jumping technique has developed some really bad habits. When she's about to take off for a jump (0:49), her leg goes way too far out and she hammers her toe onto the ice, and she isn't getting enough height and speed to land the jump (She only barely landed it). She's had this problem since she was young. Kim Yuna's jumps are a lot more powerful, and she puts more speed and height into it. (CONTINUE ^)

If you carefully compared Caroline's jumps to Yuna's, you would understand. Recently she's put in heaps of work to fix her technique, and it's improving heaps :) so let's wish her luck in the future.

This might be my favorite of my favorite videos! :-) Caroline is gifted with natural grace and she is pretty strong technically, also. In her jumps, I think there is a bit too much of a pause while she raises her leg to tap [hammer] the ice, but she still pulls them off well.... and the complete package is very, very, lovely!

This year hasn't been her best, but her performance at TEB and this exhibition show that she is far from finished.

This is a beautiful exhibition and just shows how lovely her skating is. I still think she needs a lot of work on her technique but she's still a front-runner for national champ this year in my opinion.

When Mao and Yuna were 15 they didn't skate this beautifully.

She may lack power--for now, but for soft music, She takes her time with her movements; so soft and gentle. So expressive...And even at 14 she was skating like this...Wow.
