This has really brought tears to my eyes. Although I do not live in Potong Pasir and never in my life saw him, I am really touched by his actions and how he strives to make Singaporeans' voices heard. I may be only 20 this year, I respect Mr Chiam a lot.

i dont know why people are crying spilled milk? i m an ardent opposition supporter and chiam see tong also "tong" in the parliament for a long time!!! i respect him for that. BUT pp people vote his wife out and pp will not be the same again. pp will be en bloc like hillview or pap will impose drastic change to win the next election. this is the down fall for pp estate and people, not chiam see tong. he already done his part. so pp people u vote for it, gd luck for all of u.

My full respect to you, Mr Chiam as your never give up fighting spirit is a role model for all Singaporeans to learn as all Potong Pasir residents will always remember u as a kind, understanding, humble person with compassionate heart to serve people of all classes with your heart & soul. As our nation progress many poor citizens in cracked classes are being forgotten & we really need more politicans like u who will be sadly miss by Potong Pasir residents who u served for 27 years since 1984 :)
