the fair has been on appleby a lot longer than anybody has lived there infact since the 16th century. a its once a year so whats the big deal. football hooligans cause more mess an chaos like we had in manchester the other week. a like jessbob says you new it was a yearly thing when you moved there so thats your choice. and will be the same long after you have gone!!!

Every year we watch our town get destroyed by this absolute disgrace of a gathering,, Utter Disruption, and Zero conformance with any kind of Laws whatsoever,, Its Just Dodge City for a Week,, Hows about giving something back to Appleby like erm perhaps leaving it as it was found and not like a Bomb site...I Notice you have failed to add any pictures of the discracful mess left behind at the end of pikey week,, wonder why ????

whehey! i live here! 3000 residents in Appleby! during that week there is up to 40,000 people at any one time! damn gypsies tearing up my town!
